Dr. Gokulakrishnan, Associate Professor, Thanthai Roever College of Physiotherapy, served as the coordinator for the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) awareness programme organized on 16 December 2025 at Perambalur. Under his coordination, the event was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, Rotary District 3000 and allied partners, focusing on empowering girl children and promoting their right to education.The programme was formally presented by Mr. Bharathi from the Department of Social Welfare, who appreciated his leadership and contribution towards creating social awareness in line with the objectives of BBBP. Female staff members actively engaged in awareness talks.
