On 24th April, 2025, Thanthai Roever College of Physiotherapy Final Year Students attended a one-day Leprosy Orientation Course at The Leprosy Mission Hospital, Vadathorasalur, Kallakurichi District, Tamil Nadu. The students gained knowledge about the condition from Dr. Helen G Roberts and Dr. C. Noah Yesuraj. The students understood the plight of those affected by leprosy by the seminar taken by Mrs. Maheswari. The students were given demonstrations on splinting and casting for leprosy patient in the hands-on workshop conducted by physiotherapist Mr. Vijay Kumar. He helped students to assess the patients and return with practical experience with diagnosing patients suffering from leprosy.
