On 25th April, 2023 Thanthai Roever College of Physiotherapy organised a seminar to raise awareness on World Malaria Day. The program was conducted by faculty from the Perambalur District Health Department.
The seminar and its speakers were introduced by Mr. Rajmohan S, Block Health Supervisor. Mrs. S. Kalai Selvi, District Malaria Officer, DD Health Perambalur spoke on effective measures to prevent the spread of Malaria by mosquitoes. The students also took a pledge on working towards the goal of eradicating malaria by 2027. The pledge was led by Mr. Selvaraj, District Health Educator Perambalur.
The students gained much awareness and knowledge from the session.
